Austin Olson
Mechanical Engineer at Danaher Cryogenics
Austin is a Mechanical Engineer at Danaher Cryogenics, where he develops high-performance systems for complex applications. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wyoming and brings a background in aviation and hands-on design focused on reliability and real-world results.
Before joining Danaher Cryogenics, he earned his Airframe & Powerplant license and managed a small fleet of general aviation airplanes. Most recently, he held product and process engineering roles at Malibu Boats where he supported new product development, manufacturing improvements, and system design. During that time, he invented an Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Ballast Flush System and secured a provisional patent to help prevent the spread of invasive species between waterways.
Outside of work, Austin is a licensed private pilot who enjoys camping, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and golfing.
