Manufacturing Engineer
Job Purpose
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with 5+ years experience with an emphasis on technical and procedural documentation. This will be a multiple-responsibility position including manufacturing project management, process and procedural development, product revisions and improvements. This role will be a key asset in the future growth of the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Test system development, testing and supervising test systems in production
- Strong ability in writing. comprehensive procedures and enhancements to existing procedures.
- Proven manufacturing project management.
- Ability to design manufacturing fixturing, jigs, and lab infrastructure.
- Solidworks CAD experience a plus.
- Assembly process development and in-process inspection.
- Sustaining product revisions and improvements.
- BOM development and maintenance.
- Inventory logistics and production planning.
- Vendor qualification and support.
- Electronics, high vacuum, cryogenics – specifically ADRs are a major plus.
- Good ability to interact professionally with engineering/scientific, assembly, machine shop,
customers, and administrative staff. - Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
- Articulates with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, be organized, be highly driven and self-motivate.
- Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members on a collaborative basis.
- Must be comfortable working in a growing, fast-paced, challenging work environment.

Electro-Mechanical Technician
Job Purpose
We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician with 5+ years experience with an emphasis on technical assembly of cryogenic systems. This will be a multiple-responsibility position including assembly of cryostats and process and procedural development. This role will be a key asset in the future growth of the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs electronic and mechanical production of assemblies and subassemblies.
- Ability to follow current production procedures. Generation of production procedures.
- Works under direct supervision using visual aids, hand tools, wiring lists, BOMs, drawings,
and/or verbal or written instructions to assemble, modify, or rework units. - Works well with team members.
- Ability to work from electrical schematics, mechanical assembly prints, and work instructions.
- Maintain workstation, equipment, tools and materials.
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Required
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with soldering at the macro and micro level.
- Experience with cryogenic systems, vacuum systems, and leak checking is a plus.
- English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Electronic troubleshooting to the component level is a plus.
- Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Excellent skills in technical problem solving.
- Quality workmanship is a must.
- Accuracy and attention to detail – Quality minded.
- PC knowledge including Word and Excel.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted
