Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician
Job Purpose
We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician with 5+ years experience with an emphasis on technical assembly of cryogenic systems. This will be a multiple-responsibility position including assembly of cryostats and process and procedural development. This role will be a key asset in the future growth of the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs electronic and mechanical production of assemblies and subassemblies
- Ability to follow current production procedures
- Generation of production procedures
- Works under direct supervision using visual aids, hand tools, wiring lists, BOMs, drawings, and/or verbal or written instructions to assemble, modify, or rework units
- Works well with team members
- Ability to work from electrical schematics, mechanical assembly prints, and work instructions
- Maintain workstation, equipment, tools and materials
- Other duties as assigned
Education, Skills, and Experience Required
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with soldering at the macro and micro level
- Experience with cryogenic systems, vacuum systems, and leak checking is a plus
- English communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Electronic troubleshooting to the component level is a plus
- Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings
- Excellent skills in technical problem solving
- Quality workmanship is a must
- Accuracy and attention to detail – Quality minded
- PC knowledge including Word and Excel
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted

Pay Range: The pay range is between $25.00 and $45.00 per hour. Pay range accounts for variations in education, skills, and relevant experience
